One of the most beloved Christmas films of all time, The Muppets Christmas Carol, will tour the UK in November and December 2021 for the very first time, being brought to life with a full live orchestra performing the music from the movie.

The Muppets Christmas Carol Live In Concert UK Tour 2021 will begin in Liverpool on 28^th November 2021, before calling at Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, and Edinburgh, before finishing in Nottingham on 14^th December.

Originally released in 1992, the infamous retelling of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol will be shown live on an ultra-HD screen, whilst the orchestra perform the score and soundtrack live to picture.

Starring Sir Michael Caine as Ebenezer Scrooge, alongside a cast of The Muppets including Kermit The Frog, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Rizzo, Fozzie Bear, and more (of which several are played by the legendary actor/ puppeteer Frank Oz), The Muppets Christmas Carol ‘… successfully warms the heart’ according to the New York Times.

The score for The Muppets Christmas Carol was written by Miles Goodman, with songs written by long-time Muppets composer Paul Williams.

Performances of The Muppets Christmas Carol Live In Concert will notably feature the ballad ‘When Love Is Gone’, which had been omitted from several versions of the film and has recently been unearthed and restored.
