Although only formed in 2009, the founder of TheMusicAgency.com and The South Wales Music Agency, Andy Farquharson, has been providing musicians in the South Wales area for many years - beginning whilst studying for his degree in Music from Cardiff University. Since graduating he worked for 3 years as a Tour Manager for The Walt Disney Company, where he continued to build upon his strong organisational skills and high level of guest service. These skills are now used in both his role as Managing Director of the Agency, and also in his full-time role as Orchestral Coordinator of the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, based in the Hoddinott Hall in Cardiff Bay. With a background in both musical performance and direction across a wide range of genres, Andy understands the needs for both musicians and clients, and provides a professional service from start to finish for both.
